columbiaicefieldtours.com earns an affiliate commission when you book a tour or ticket through a link or booking widget on this site. You pay exactly the same price you would pay going directly to GetYourGuide. We are not paid by Pursuit, IceWalks, or any tour operator, and no operator has any say over what appears here.

2. Who we work with

We participate in the GetYourGuide affiliate programme. Every booking link and every embedded availability widget on this site carries our partner identifier so that GetYourGuide can attribute a resulting booking to us and pay a commission on it. Links that earn us a commission are marked with rel="sponsored" in the page source, and open in a new tab.

3. What this does not change

This matters, so we will be specific about it.

• Your price is unaffected. The commission is paid by GetYourGuide out of its own margin.
• We recommend free options too. The Toe of the Athabasca Glacier trail and Wilcox Pass earn us nothing, and we tell you about both prominently — including on a whole page devoted to seeing the glacier for free.
• We name the tours that leave admission out. Of the 59 Columbia Icefield listings we checked on 4 September 2026, 34 exclude glacier and Skywalk entry from their price. Saying so plainly costs us commission on some of the cheapest, most-booked tours in the niche. We say it anyway, because it is the single thing most likely to ruin someone’s day.

4. How we choose what to feature

Our featured recommendation is the Columbia Icefield Adventure (Ice Explorer and Skywalk). We picked it because it is the only ticket that includes vehicle access onto the Athabasca Glacier plus the Skywalk, and because at 4.6 from more than 3,100 verified reviews it has a larger evidence base than any other listing on the icefield. Commission rates played no part in that choice, and where a lower-earning or zero-earning option genuinely suits a reader better — the guided IceWalk, the Skywalk alone, or a free trail — we say so.
